On the second day of Hannover Messe, the SmartFactoryKL team welcomed several top-ranked politicians from the German Federal and State Governments.

“Industrie 4.0 is the survival guarantee for the German SMEs”, said the German federal Minister for Economic Affairs Peter Altmaier (CDU) during his visit. He added that Industrie 4.0 is a challenge that should be tackled. Stephan Weil (SPD), Minister President of the State of Lower Saxony also spoke about SMEs and came to a positive conclusion for German companies. Daniela Schmitt (FDP), State Secretary for Economics in Rhineland-Palatinate focused on the challenges arising for enterprises in the light of digitalization.
