How do industry and research work together and develop Industrie 4.0 concepts as implemented in the SmartFactoryKL production plant? The campaign „Experience Industrie 4.0“, which will run throughout 2018, will give answers and insights.
The campaign has the goal to present the manufacturer-independent Industrie 4.0 demonstration and research platform SmartFactoryKL and explain the input of the partner consortium for the Hannover Messe trade fair 2018 along the value adding chain. The man behind the project is Andreas Schulz, mechanical engineer, it expert and technology blogger. Under the pseudonym „Ingenieurversteher“ (translates as „he who understands engineering“), he has taken on the challenge of explaining new developments and trends from the world of technology in an easy-to-understand way to a more general public.
„This campaign with SmartFactoryKLand its partners enables me to look into the existing technology behind the ideas of Industrie 4.0 more deeply. The concept that many partners work together manufacturer-independently to turn their visions into reality is realized here perfectly. Using the example of the Industrie 4.0 production plant, we will be able to experience at Hannover Messe what is available on the market already today and what is yet to come. The campaign will use the scope of digital communication to promote Professor Zühlke’s idea even more“, Schulz said during his visit to Kaiserslautern.
