The Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) Europe is the governmental R&D institute of Korea in Europe, founded in 1996 in Saarbrücken. KIST Europe is a specific expertise in terms of innovation-oriented research & industry support as an open R&D platform between Korea and Europe.
Our employees do on-site research in Europe for globalization of Korean science and technology in the fields of environment and energy, integrative bio-nano-engineering and smart convergence. Also we provide technology information, support in technology transfer and joint projects, and we link Korean and European partners for Korea-EU Science and Technology Cooperation.
