SmartFactoryKL can now be visited in a virtual tour. Information on the individual demonstrators, which hightlight various aspects of Industrie 4.0, is available in German and English.
The 360° tour is available as a web service or a virtual reality app for the operating systems iOS or Android. The name of the app is “Rundgang SmartFactory-KL” and can be downloaded free of charge in the App Store and Google Play Store. If the app is viewed with the help of a smartphone and a pair of VR glasses, the impression of standing in the middle of the demo center is ever more “real”.

Die app was developed for Hannover Messe 2017 by the Mittelstand 4.0-Kompetenzzentrum Kaiserslautern (SME 4,0 Competence Center Kaiserslautern). SmartFactoryKL functions as the demo center of the Competence Center.
